Company Profile

Q.A.Services, Inc. is the first national direct marketing and distribution company dedicated exclusively to the point-of-care /self-test diagnostic markets. We distribute to consumers, professionals and home health care nursing organizations. Our products include diagnostic test kits, instruments, reagents and associated supplies.

One of the results of the health care reform initiative by the Clinton Administration was pressure on healthcare providers to reduce costs while maintaining or improving the quality of care. Any product or service which will help decrease the cost of care while creating a happy, satisfied patient, and improving outcomes, will be successful. The aging baby boomer populationis becoming increasingly health aware and involved in their own wellness. Our products will always fill the market need with simple, accurate, safe diagnostic tests and related products and services.

The Q.A.Services product line consists of diagnostic instruments and tests, reagents necessary to run the instruments, and supplies associated with the performance of the tests.

Our products can be characterized as diagnostic equipment or self contained kits which are easy to use and are or will be approved in the future for patient self-testing and CLIA Waived status.

Home Test Medical brings consumers new home test diagnostic information and products as well as insurance reimbursement assistance, training, ongoing support and supply.

The company was incorporated in March of 1997 to coincide with the FDA approval for patient self-testing of our first product, the ProTime Microcoagulation System. We supply this product and it’sdisposable cuvettes to individuals and clinics all across the United States.
We will be adding many new products to our offering based upon the needs and research requests brought to us by people who want greater participation in their own health care.

We provide free insurance coverage assistance for patients purchasing our self-testing products.

At your request, we provide information directly to you and your doctor from our selection. If you are seeking information on a testing product and you don't see it here we will be happy to try to find it for you.

Our products include diagnostic test kits, instruments, reagents and the other supplies you need to perform the tests you decide to use. We offer a selection of the newest and best home and self-test medical diagnostic products available anywhere.

Should you decide they fit into you total health, wellness or disease management plan we provide fast shipment, insurance billing, training and ongoing support to assure you are satisfied.

Our services also include free training, insurance verification, pre-authorization and billing services, including Medicare for those who qualify.

Key Personnel:

Michael R. Visnich:
President and founder. Mike Visnich has worked for over 20 years in companies within the medical and pharmaceutical distribution industries. He has held positions of increasing responsibility ranging from sales representative to president of a large specialty pharmaceutical distribution company. At various stages of his career he was involved in the introduction and successful marketing of new diagnostic products. He was directly involved in the early testing and marketing of home monitoring of glucose for insulin dependent diabetics and the introductions of rapid pregnancy, fecal occult blood, cholesterol and ovulation tests to professionals, to name a few. He has always been keenly interested in the development of the home testing market and over the years, has evolved the concept of Home Test Medical, QA Point of Care and Quality Assured Services, Inc.

Dr. Sheila G. Dunn:
Nationally recognized expert in point-of-care diagnostic testing, laboratory regulatory compliance and reimbursement issues. President of Quality America, Inc. a related consulting firm, Dr. Dunn is an industry veteran who assists medical and diagnostic manufacturers to develop and market diagnostic tools to aid in the diagnosis or monitoring of various diseases.

Dr. Dunn and Mr. Visnich have recently co-authored a chapter in a book published by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkens in 2002. The book is intended to become the definitive reference on point-of-care testing with chapters contributed by experts from various fields of testing. The subject matter of the chapter designated for the pair is home based testing. This invitation supports our belief in the unique nature of our business charter and our intention to be recognized as marketing and distribution experts in this emerging market. The pair are currently working on a new book which will define the home diagnostic testing market and provide useful information to consumers and students wishing to learn more about this important segment of point-of-care testing.

Brian L. Bellissimo:
Director of Operations. Resourceful, successful entrepreneur with twenty plus years experience in executive management, strategic development and customer service. Responsible for the company's logistics, procedures, shipping design, implementation and FDA regulatory compliance. Created and maintains the ongoing growth of the IT department, including communications, networking and software/hardware management. Also gave rise to the company's internet site development, expansion, maintenance and overall presence and is primary caretaker of the entire development team. Spearheads special projects such as the Patient Protime Monitoring services that was launched in Spring of 2002 and others still in various stages of development.

Nancy F. Clubb:
Director of Administration. Insurance industry executive with over twenty-five years experience. Oversees Provider Relations, A/R & A/P and Insurance Process departments. Nancy Clubb is instrumental in the company's constant compliance in the Medicare and HIPAA regulations and guidelines. She has created the company's policy handbook and is in charge of the Human Resources Department. Special projects include the development and implementation of the employee training program emphasizing every level and aspect of the company's infrastructure as it relates to each employee.

Mike E. Fine:
Director of Sales & Marketing. A veteran of the sales and marketing industry. His diverse management and sales experiences in the medical, sales and insurance fields have formed a unique ability to create and implement efficient and effective sales strategies. Mike Fine has developed problem solving and customer relations skills that provide excellent service to patients and professionals. Primary responsibility is to manage the product specialist team and inside sales personnel. Other duties include the creation of sales and marketing methods to drive ongoing growth and profitability.
